The Adapto Scanning app provides an advanced 3D scanning technology that captures a 3D digital impression of the ear canal, by using true depth smartphone technology and cloud AI. We use automated digital design processes to prepare the scans for manufacturing. The manufacturing is automated and the customized earmold are made of medically approved, soft TPE which is recyclable material.
The app provides a digital infrastructure where manufacturers and dealers can order/process 3D scans and custom-fit products, and in time the app will provide a network of trained scanners, which means the end-user can go and get 3D scanned on location.
We have a strong focus on data security. All data is transported via encrypted protocols, and the collected data does not leave Europe.
The smartphone scanning app aims at quality in user experience. It will be available from April 2023, but please do not hesitate to contact us, if you are interested in becoming a partner.
The workflow has
four main steps
Step 1
You sign up as an Adapto Scan partner and get a unique login from us. After this you can create logins to your dealers or scanners.
Step 2
Scanners complete the scanner training module in the Adapto Scanning App. After this they can scan your customers ears via the Adapto App without needing impression material or an expensive industrial 3D scanner.
Step 3
The raw data from the app is automatically processed using AI to create a true 3D copy of the customers' ears. All data is transported via encrypted protocols, and the collected data does not leave Europe.
Step 4
Finally, you can digitally submit the order from the smartphone directly to order custom-fit molds or a digital file.
Professionalizing the scanning proces
The scanning app includes a traning module, and scanners need to complete the training session in order to use the scanner.
Time is an imortant part of the user experience, therefore the scanning sessions are connceted to a timer to make sure that the 3D scan takes no more than 2 minutes per ear.
This is to ensure and enhance quality in the user experience and the collected data.
